About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team at Smyth & Co Luxury Consultants. As a key member of our client's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing rotas, and ensuring exceptional quality standards in a high-end, high-volume restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and customer service, providing leadership and training to front-of-house staff.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, financial reporting, and staff scheduling, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork among team members.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the restaurant with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a high-end hospitality environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for inspiring and motivating team members.
  • Strong operational knowledge, including experience with rotas, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
