Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management at our client's site.
Key Responsibilities:- High level cleaning, including scrubbing and polishing floors, walls, and surfaces
- Driving company site vehicles, such as tugs, vans, and forklifts
- Deep cleaning of washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers
- Periodic cleaning of stone flooring, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- Light maintenance, including repairing and replacing fixtures and fittings
- Waste management, including collecting and disposing of waste and recyclables
- Window cleaning, including cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Use of scrubber driers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment
- Jet washing, including cleaning surfaces with high-pressure water jets
- Proven track record in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong communication skills, including ability to work with colleagues and clients
- Able to work within a team, including collaboration and problem-solving
- Proactive with good attention to detail, including ability to identify and report issues
- Ability to work under pressure, including meeting deadlines and managing workload
- Driving Licence is essential
- Forklift Counterbalance certificate would be beneficial
- IPAF certificate would be beneficial
- Health & Safety Certificate
