We are seeking a motivated Academic Support Specialist to join our team at HFL Education, a specialist primary education agency working with schools in Essex and Hertfordshire. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work closely with our client schools to provide high-quality teaching assistance, supporting the learning and development of pupils from Early Years to Year 6.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in primary education, ideally with a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will be able to offer full-time or part-time hours, day-to-day or short-term positions, and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate, ranging from £80 to £120 per day, depending on their level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a fair salary, you will benefit from ongoing professional development, including SEND, phonics, and ADHD training, as well as mental health and wellbeing support from our trained Workplace Health Champions.
