About the Job

As a Mechanic MET Technician at Stoneacre Motor Group, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standard. This will involve stripping and refitting mechanical and electrical trims, panels, and components, as well as dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles in accordance with prescribed repair methods.

You will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. You will also be required to order replacement parts, carry out inspections, and perform road testing (if applicable).

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently. As a valued member of the Stoneacre Motor Group team, you can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to industry-leading training programs and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical repairs
  • ATA qualification advantageous
  • Experience in stripping, refitting vehicles
