About the Job

As a Probation Services Officer, you will be responsible for working with medium and lower risk clients. Your primary focus will be on assessing and managing risks, providing information to courts, and working closely with agencies throughout the justice system.

You will have the ability to evidence high-level numeracy and literacy skills required to read, understand, and interpret policies. You will also be able to write reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is £26,475 - £31,650 per annum. We offer a full-time employment contract with opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage risks associated with offenders
  • Provide information to courts and work closely with agencies throughout the justice system
  • Support offenders in achieving their rehabilitation goals
  • Collaborate with other agencies to prevent crime and meet the needs of victims and people on probation
