Cabling Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cabling Systems Engineer to join our team at Context Recruitment. As a Cabling Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cabling systems for various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test network cables in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Ensure all cabling and equipment are installed in compliance with safety and industry regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess cabling requirements and design solutions tailored to the client's needs.
  • Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on existing cabling installations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including drawings and as-built information.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients on cabling and network systems.

About the Role:

This is a field-based role that requires travel to various locations across the UK. You will work closely with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in a similar role and strong knowledge of cabling systems, including fibre optic and Cat6/6a.

What We Offer:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package. A valid driver's license and CSCS card are essential for this role.
