Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sensory Specialist to drive design centricity within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sensory activities and consumer product tests across the business.

This part-time role (20 hours/week) requires strong technical expertise in sensory and consumer experience. You will work closely with Marketing, R&D, and Procurement teams to identify information needed for product development, including research planning, data analysis, and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical expert on sensory and consumer experience methods, test design, data analysis, and reporting
  • Sensorial protocols and testing support for ESG, VE, DTV, Change control, Renovation & Innovation, and Reporting projects
  • Management and critical assessment of sensory protocols, testing, CX workshops, and innovation capability framework
  • Independent management of Triangle/triad testing, DoD, Similarity testing, Marketing Baskets, and other sensory tests
  • Project and resource tracking, prioritization, and data management
  • Clear reporting and actionable recommendations to project teams
  • Partnership with the Global Consumer & Culinary Experience team for best practices implementation
  • Drawing employee engagement throughout the organization

About You:

  • 2-3 years' experience running sensory and consumer studies in a large organization
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields (Science, R&D, Marketing, Business, Psychology)
  • Strong background in sensory science and ability to influence others
  • Expertise in sensory methodologies, consumer research, and design thinking
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and globally, with a focus on the food and beverage industry

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range ($80,000 - $100,000 per annum), depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities tied to company and individual performance.
