About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Information Developer II to join our vibrant, global content team at Rocket Software. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in crafting easy-to-use, effective content that contributes to customer success throughout the user journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product content for one or more software products, ensuring accuracy, completeness, clarity, concision, and grammatical correctness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create UI text, context-sensitive help, videos, guided tours, and conventional help.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrate expertise in structured authoring, plain English, and minimalism.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Journalism, English, or a technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in working as an Information Developer, preferably with expertise in DITA and HTML.
  • Familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, Markdown, or CSS, as well as knowledge of video creation and graphic creation.
  • The ability to think critically about the user journey and develop appropriate content.
