We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dedicated kitchen team at David Neiper Academy in Alfreton.

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service, including food preparation, cooking, and portion control. You will also be responsible for ensuring food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the kitchen supervisor in food preparation and cooking
  • Ensure food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed
  • Prepare the dining room for service
  • Assist with food preparation and portion control

Requirements

  • Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying hours
