Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden, working on a prestigious project for HS2.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations in the Banbury area, ensuring that all activities are carried out to the required standards, programme, and budget.
You will work closely with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials, and be responsible for the performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with the setting out team to ensure smooth delivery of M&E works activities
- Resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent
- Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributing to financial forecasting
About The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with:
- HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E related) or equivalent
- CSCS - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
- Previous structures experience is preferred
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
- Experience in highways or structures is essential for this role
- A driving license and access to a vehicle
