We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of residential development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake cost analysis comparisons for subcontractors from tender enquiry to analysis and contract placement.
- Identify risk, cost control, and value management opportunities.
- Prepare valuations, measurements, and final accounts, including CVRs.
- Predict profitability and ensure schemes come within budget.
- A background in housing development is essential.
- Experience in running residential projects is required.
- A degree or HNC in a relevant field, such as Construction or Quantity Surveying, is ideal.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary.
- Fully IT literate and able to work effectively in a team.
A highly competitive salary and package for candidates with a proven background in residential development. The successful candidate will be based in the North Devon area, with a split between office and home working.
