Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial control, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective financial systems and processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Financial Reporting to ensure seamless communication and coordination between teams.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant or within 1-2 exams of completion.
  • Expertise in group consolidations and strong financial modelling skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in audit and financial reporting.
  • High level of Excel proficiency.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in our Cardiff office and will work closely with the finance team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 days' holiday, 20% company discount, and pension scheme.
