About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Stroke Medicine Registrar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in the running of the department, and providing clinical supervision to junior doctors.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and high standard of care for all patients
  • Participate in the running of the department/ward
  • Provide clinical supervision of junior doctors on medical wards &/or in the on-call team
  • Provide senior medical input for the on-call Medical Team (especially Out of Hours) and potentially lead the cardiac arrest team
  • Assist with achieving the DOH Clinical Quality Indicators

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum MRCP part 1 is essential to apply
  • UK experience and passed Membership of the Royal College Physicians exams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
