Join VanRath as a Planner

We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our team at VanRath, a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in the effective planning and programming of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Estimating team with the preparation of tender programmes and method statements
  • Preparing comprehensive planning information on new project start-ups
  • Updating current project programmes and plans with site feedback
  • Advising the project team on critical changes and potential steps to maintain targets
  • Controlling and recording programme revisions
  • Providing regular evaluation and commentary of progress to the Project Management Team and Senior Management Team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience working on fit-out projects for a reputable Main Contractor
  • Extensive experience working as a Planner
  • Variety of technical knowledge of the construction process
  • Excellent people management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in ASTA, MS Projects, and Excel
  • Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
