About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in the South of England. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our in-house construction team, delivering capital projects and replacing Electrical Assets ranging from 11kV to 132kV in substations across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate our work programme to ensure adequate resources are available and prepare Construction Phase Plans for our sites as per the CDM requirements.
  • Supervise site works, set staff to work and act as the main site contact.
  • Review contractor and sub-contractor RAMS as necessary.
  • Ensure our staff, contractors and sub-contractors are fully inducted on site, carry out tool box talks, and receive safety documents as necessary.
  • Order minor materials for projects as and when required, including tracking orders and invoices and processing quotations from numerous suppliers, whilst ensuring our sites have adequate welfare provisions available and plan and order welfare as required.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Experience working in operational electricity substation environments from 11kV - 132kV and a good working knowledge of the Construction and Design Management (CDM) Regulations especially in representing the Principal Contractor.
  • Formal qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS, first aid at work, EUSR.
  • Experience of supervising a working party in a live electricity substation environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in CDM and COSHH Regulations.
  • Formal qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in co-ordinating site teams and proactively supervising site works to ensure excellent standards in Health, Safety and Quality.
