- Order Taking and Service
- Take accurate and efficient orders from customers, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standard.
- Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are correct and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that all customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, including correct Mise en Place and the use of clean, polished cutlery and glasses.
- Report any incidents or complaints to management and implement compliant handling procedures.
- Uniform and Appearance
- Adhere to uniform requirements and ensure that uniform is cleaned and well-maintained, in line with company policy.
- Present a smart and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Training and Development
- Attend all training as requested, whether in-house or with an external provider.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Experience
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a similar fast-paced, quality environment.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrable knowledge and passion for great food and wine.
- Confident and individual who is committed to providing excellent service to all customers.
- Good communicator and team player.
- Able to work under pressure and multitask, particularly during peak hours and extended periods of increased business.
- Personal Qualities
- Comfortable interacting and engaging in conversation.
- Patience and ability to adapt under stress.
- Fluent English and ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
