Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of security principles and practices, as well as hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, integrate, maintain, and manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Assist security analysts and incident command teams with ongoing alerts and incidents.
  • Collaborate with analysts and management to create and fine-tune detections, ensuring the security posture is constantly evaluated and updated.
  • Provide recommendations on containment and hardening actions for security incidents.
  • Support Security Operations Analysts, Incident Command Teams, and third-party service providers during incident response activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills, including computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware, and security.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Experience reviewing security controls and implementing hardening measures based on industry standard benchmarks.
  • Familiarity with security domains, auditing standards, and risk analysis frameworks.
