Role Overview

Qualified Dental Nurse

This is a part-time role working 2 days per week, with a requirement to include a Friday and 30 minutes for lunch.

Saturday AM work will be on a rota basis, discussed further at the interview stage.

Your Role

As a Dental Nurse, you'll play a key role in patient care and support your dentist. With your understanding of Private, NHS, and UDA treatments, and knowledge of GDC and regulatory responsibilities, you'll set high standards for your team and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent patient care at all times, working with clinical freedom to choose the right solution for each patient
  • Understand the importance of teamwork within the surgery and work effectively to support the dentists
  • Use excellent organisational and influencing skills to ensure effective care delivery
  • Understand Private and NHS dentistry, supporting treatment options for patients and driving surgery efficiency
  • Share knowledge and be a role model to Trainee/Apprentice Nurses, buddying them through induction and providing extra support as they learn
  • Demonstrate full understanding of GDC and regulatory responsibilities
  • Embrace ongoing CPD and professional development

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant live or pending GDC registration.
