Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Director to lead our procurement function at Aztec. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading a best-in-class procurement service that delivers value to the business.

The Procurement Director will be accountable for developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's objectives. They will also be responsible for managing supplier risk, contract and commercial management, governance, and oversight of goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in leading and managing procurement teams. They will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's objectives.
  • Manage supplier risk, contract and commercial management, governance, and oversight of goods and services.
  • Lead the procurement team to deliver best-in-class procurement services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement matters to the business.

Requirements:

  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in procurement, with experience in leading and managing procurement teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence at all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
