">The Job
">We are recruiting a skilled Multi Skilled Facilities Technician to join our Estates and Facilities team (Technical Services). This role involves performing day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of Ravensbourne's Mechanical and Electrical assets to ensure they operate at optimal levels.
">Responsibilities
">- Conduct scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain site assets and equipment availability.
- Ensure routine maintenance meets and exceeds expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Respond to Building Management System alarms and carry out emergency repairs when necessary.
- Identify and estimate repair or project works, adhering to best practice and regulations.
- Manage Permit to Work systems and ensure suitable spares are available for maintenance.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records in task sheets - hard copy or electronically as required.
- Develop and implement Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Oversee engineering subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual commitments and site processes.
Essential Requirements
">You should possess strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, fault finding, and repairs in large commercial settings. Experience working with building managers/stakeholders is beneficial.
">Compensation Package
">The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining Ravensbourne's infrastructure.
