**Automation Engineer Opportunity**
This role is ideal for an automation specialist seeking to develop their skills within a global market leader in the UK.
As an automation engineer, you will provide specialist support to manufacturing production lines, responding to plant breakdowns and diagnosing faults to minimise downtime.
You will be responsible for carrying out design, software modifications and improvements to plant equipment, as well as designing and implementing PLC code and commissioning support for major line improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or automation, experience working with Allen Bradley Control, CompactLogix and Siemens S7 PLCs, and understanding of relay logic and fault finding.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Providing specialist engineering support to manufacturing production lines
- Responding to plant breakdowns and diagnosing faults
- Carrying out design, software modifications and improvements to plant equipment
- Designing and implementing PLC code and commissioning support
**Requirements:**
- Background in manufacturing or automation
- Experience working with Allen Bradley Control, CompactLogix and Siemens S7 PLCs
- Understanding of relay logic and fault finding
