Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Health Jobs UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial input, advice, and support to ensure the delivery of month-end reporting and Cost Improvement Plan analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to thrive and develop within a supportive finance team.

Main Duties:
  • Work with the Finance Business Partners to provide an outstanding management accounting service.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly management accounting information is produced and clearly reported.
  • Identify, design, and implement procedural changes within own area and within agreed level of authority.
  • Support budget managers in identifying financial trends & KPIs.
  • Respond to routine queries and provide advice relative to own area of expertise.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders. Previous financial management experience and excellent IT skills are essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving credentials.

The ideal candidate will have experience in areas such as budget monitoring, costing, pricing, and high-level expertise in Excel and working with databases to develop and support complex financial models. A sound understanding of accounting principles and standards, including IFRS, is also required.
