Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Dalkia. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from conception to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and financial summaries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical project management or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with mechanical project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
