Pertemps Network Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our team at a prestigious Outdoor Activity Centre in Swindon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage our catering operation, providing exceptional dining experiences for approximately 1800 guests daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of up to 15 staff, including a Head Chef, Front of House Manager, and kitchen staff
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety are maintained
  • Organizing and implementing efficient meal preparation and service procedures
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Monitoring and controlling food costs and inventory
  • Coordinating staff rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 Food Safety certification
  • City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Level 3 Management qualification
  • Proven experience in a busy contract catering environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
