Role Overview

As the Operations Expert, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our stores, driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maximise profitable sales and growth through effective store operations management
  • Drive sales through customer interactions, promoting Dobbies Club membership benefits
  • Lead the team in creating a customer-centric environment, delivering a seamless shopping experience
  • Supervise and monitor stock processes, ensuring efficient stock management
  • Collaborate with the management team and staff to maintain open communication and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, prioritising employee and customer welfare
  • Assist with keyholder responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Proven operations expertise in retail, with an understanding of stock processes and systems
  • Supervisory experience, with the ability to identify training needs and provide feedback
  • Adaptability, responding quickly to changing priorities, workload, and new regulations
  • Previous customer-facing experience, with excellent people skills and a passion for delivering great customer service
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, build relationships, and celebrate success
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and gain new experiences
