Vacancy Overview
The East Lothian Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to provide care and assistance to individuals and small groups of pupils with additional support needs in our ASN provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to pupils with Autism and Communication needs
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist pupils with daily living tasks and promote independence
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
Applicants should have experience working with children with additional support needs and a strong understanding of Autism and Communication needs.
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with part-time hours/sessional posts pro-rated accordingly.
Salary
The hourly rate of pay is £13.42-£14.47.
