Job Opportunity for Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have a CCST/CCT (or equivalent) in Psychiatry and be able to take clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews. They will also be able to supervise the process of referral and admission, and contribute to the development of a therapeutic milieu.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties, and be knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice. They will also be a first-rate communicator who can interview, assess, and treat patients, and write clear and comprehensive medical notes.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week, with an excellent salary of £160,000 per annum. The successful candidate will also receive a contributory pension scheme, life insurance policy, medical indemnity cover, and free on-site parking.
