About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Patient Access team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our patients and ensuring that they receive the best possible care. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience as a clerical services coordinator.
Main Responsibilities
* Respond to incoming telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner* Update patient records accurately and efficiently on our computerised system* Process and book outpatient appointments within agreed trust targets* Maintain confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information with discretion* Work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve shared goals
Requirements
* GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, one to be English* Good standard of education* Experience in clerical post* Advantageous: PAS/ERS experience
Salary
The salary for this position is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
