We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Michael Page Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing key national accounts, developing strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth within the flooring industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key national accounts within the flooring industry, serving as the primary point of contact for existing clients and ensuring their needs are met.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national and regional flooring manufacturers and other end users, developing strategies to expand market share and penetrate new markets within the flooring sector.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets by increasing revenue within existing accounts and securing new business, collaborating with the sales team to develop pricing strategies, proposals, and contracts that align with business objectives.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the compounds used in flooring applications, including PVC, rubber, and other materials, providing technical support and product knowledge to customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and objectives, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and proactive service.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in account management or sales within the Construction chemicals industry.
- Strong knowledge of compounds used in flooring applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients across the country and internationally.
