About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the acute mixed ward. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals and be responsible for the care and treatment of patients.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals
  • Care and treatment of patients in the acute mixed ward
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the team
  • Providing clinical leadership and support to the team
  • Participating in governance meetings and service development activities

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC
  • Higher medical qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent)
  • Experience working in mental health services
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
