Detailed Role Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a motivated Financial Risk Analyst Intern to support our Power Systems Business Segment in the UK, Daventry. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of business unit credit reporting, planning, and forecasting, while analyzing credit exposures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare business unit credit reporting, planning, and forecasting, and analyze credit exposures.
  • Perform credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts, mitigating risk to the business.
  • Develop an understanding of trade finance and credit management to support the business and participate in working capital initiatives to drive corporate metrics.
  • Ensure credit activities are in line with corporate credit policies and are SOx compliant.
  • Active involvement and business partner support, preparing metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports to the business unit.
  • Represent the function when required to do so, either with other parts of the organization or at various functions or events.

Qualifications

  • Studying towards a degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business discipline.
  • Fast learner and willing to take on new challenges with great attention to detail.
  • Strong team-working skills, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good Excel skills.
