Industrial Electrician

Staffbase Recruitment is recruiting for the position of Industrial Electrician to work at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Bilston.

The Industrial Electrician will join the busy maintenance team to undertake machine maintenance, repair, and project work throughout the factory.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Maintenance and repair of industrial drives and control systems
• Fault finding and repair on a wide range of plant and equipment
• Assisting with machine installations and upgrade projects
• Maintenance of motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switch gear, etc.
• Site facilities electrical maintenance and repair
• Accurate recording and maintenance of PPM records

The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

We are seeking an industrial electrician with previous experience in maintaining automated and semi-automated machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment. A recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ 3 or 18th edition electrical installation regulations) and excellent single and three-phase electrical fault finding and repair skills are essential. Experience with PLC controls and some programming knowledge would be advantageous.

The terms and conditions of this role include a competitive salary (£46K - £50K + OT), 33 days annual leave, sick pay, pension, and free on-site parking. Overtime may be available.
