Construction Engineer - HVAC Role at Hinkley Point C

This challenging role involves supporting day-to-day construction planning, engineering, and works progression of allocated buildings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Building Lead in construction planning and engineering to ensure successful project execution.
  • Deliver discipline-specific construction work packs to support MEH construction activities and maintain compliance with latest works information and MEH documentation.
  • Liaise with necessary SMEs and client counterparts to facilitate effective project collaboration and communication.
  • Manage project change within allocated buildings to minimize disruptions and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure documents are compliant with latest works information and MEH documentation, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage Procon reporting data for allocated buildings, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Promote a positive HSE culture and lead by example, fostering a safe working environment that meets nuclear safety and site licence requirements.

To be considered for this role, you should possess a relevant degree in construction or HVAC engineering, IOSH Managing Safely certification, CCNSG Safety Passport, and ability to obtain BPSS security clearance. Previous experience in safely delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects is highly desirable.
