Manufacturing Electronics Engineering Specialist

At BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the cyber defence industry. Our Capabilities team is responsible for designing and implementing defence solutions and digital transformation projects that earn us our place in an ever-changing digital world.
This role will give you the opportunity to work hands-on with a wide variety of electronic products, providing you with experience and knowledge of the full product lifecycle. You will be part of a technical and hands-on team working directly with hardware products that protect and maintain the security of the UK and its allies.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for technology and engineering, an interest in electronics, and a passion for understanding how things work. This role requires a minimum of 96 UCAS points gained via STEM A-Level qualifications or equivalent, as well as 5 GCSEs at grade A*- C / Level 4-9, including Mathematics, English and ICT.
You will also need to be eligible for a Government Security Clearance. This Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme focuses on the development of the individual, in addition to the on-the-job training, you'll be working towards a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship qualification. This Apprenticeship will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to be a competent Manufacturing Engineer.
In this role, you will create and manage solutions that defend clients, working collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect, and understand complex data. As a member of our Capabilities team, you will be creating and managing the solutions that earn us our place in an ever-changing digital world.
