About the Job: We are seeking a Scalable Systems Developer to join our team in London. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and efficient platforms that support mission-critical services for public sector clients.

About the Role: As a Scalable Systems Developer, you will work closely with clients to architect cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to meet complex requirements. You will play a key role in platform design and implementation, automation and infrastructure as code, DevOps enablement, collaboration and advisory, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Creating repeatable and scalable systems through Terraform and other IaC tools.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines and enabling agile development practices.
  • Partnering with public sector teams to align technical delivery with organizational goals.
  • Ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security through robust monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) and designing cloud-based architectures.
  • Proven skills in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Strong experience with Git for collaborative development.
  • Deep familiarity with Linux environments, including system administration and scripting.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards for the public sector.
  • The ability to engage with clients, understand their challenges, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • A passion for troubleshooting and optimizing systems with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £95,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
