About the Opportunity

As a Procurement Manager at Jacobs, you will play a critical role in developing and executing the procurement strategy for our Non-Nuclear Engineering Partnership (NNEP) framework with AWE. Your expertise will ensure that best value contracts are introduced and effectively managed with high-performing Supply Chain partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct and coordinate procurement transactions, including purchasing materials/equipment and subcontracting services.
  • Develop close working relationships with project and framework teams, as well as Clients' representatives.
  • Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to the business, driving the development of an effective Make vs Buy challenge.
  • Introduce advantageous commercial arrangements and innovative contracting models to foster partnership and collaboration with key Supply Chain partners.
  • Ensure a proactive, effective, and efficient service to the business, identifying and challenging performance issues and driving improvement actions.
  • Manage day-to-day supply chain activities, ensuring seamless execution of procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management field, or equivalent project experience.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as MCIPS or MRICS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Gov Public Procurement Policy.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, preferably NEC, and experience working with bespoke forms of contract.
  • Strong track record in leading and executing projects within defence, energy, or construction environments.
  • Security Cleared or ability to obtain required clearance.
