Pension Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Accountant to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Pensions Accounts team, you will be responsible for preparing Trustee Reports and Financial Documents for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FRS102 and SORP regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial documents, including Trustee Reports, for a portfolio of pension scheme clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial documents.
- Attend regular meetings with partners to drive progress, identify issues, and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
- Work closely with UK and offshore accounts teams to prepare and review financial documents, and oversee audits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with teams across Aon's locations, and grow Aon's reputation with third-party providers.

Requirements- Experience in statutory accounts production, preferably in pensions, with a strong understanding of regulatory and SORP requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with client teams, auditors, and other providers.
- Drive to be a subject matter expert in pension scheme accounts, with a high level of technical knowledge and behavioral standards.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work, as required by your manager and client deadlines.
