Job Summary:

Fusion Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Senior to join our team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. As a Payroll Senior, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer various client payrolls, including RTI submissions to HMRC, processing of Year End information, reconciliations, and payslip generation.
  • Deal with internal and external updates regarding clients, team members, pension providers, and queries with HMRC.
  • Comply with auto-enrolment processes.
  • Perform manual calculations of salary, including over/under payments, annual leave, and other benefits.
  • Process PAYE, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, SAP, and attachment of earnings/orders.
  • BACS payments are desirable.
  • Auto-enrolment pension processing.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar payroll-related role.
  • Ideal two to three years of exposure working within an accountancy practice.
  • Possess knowledge of auto-enrolment pensions regulations, providing accurate advice and administration support.
  • Previous experience using BrightPay.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and ensure compliance.
