As a Kitchen Porter at Swinton Barracks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. We are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to our Armed Forces, and we believe that a clean and efficient kitchen is essential in making this possible.

• Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, crockery, and equipment are cleaned and organized on a regular basis.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and well-run kitchen and dining environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, reporting any faults or issues to your line manager promptly.
• Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.

• No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided; however, having knowledge of professional kitchen practices is advantageous.
• You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment, adapting to changing situations with ease.
• A strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene is required, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality services.

This part-time position requires approximately 5 hours of work per week, spread across 5 days out of 7, with various shift patterns available, including early shifts from 07:00 till 15:00, late shifts from 11:30 till 19:30, and weekend shifts from 10:30 till 18:30.
