We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Noise Specialist to join our team at Penguin Recruitment in Bedford.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects across different sectors, including Residential, Entertainment, Hotels, Healthcare, Industrial, and more. They will be responsible for planning and undertaking noise measurement surveys, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting noise measurements and sound insulation tests
  • Completing technical reports and data analysis
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Acoustics and Noise Control or a similar field, relevant experience in environmental or building acoustics, a full UK driving license, and knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustics sector. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as technical skills and good maths skills.

Benefits:

The salary for this role is around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a bonus scheme, pension, generous holiday allowance, and training and progression opportunities.

Location:

This role is based in Bedford, and you will need to have a full UK driving license to commute to client sites.
