Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited in the Blackwood area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day repair, maintenance, cleaning, and checking in and out of equipment to ensure it is in optimal and safe condition for rental to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the MCS Asset Sheet to facilitate filtering onto the MCS system in updates.
  • Flag any shortfall in repair and consumable supplies for the weekly ordering process to the Line Manager.
  • Prepare and de-prep assets for and off-rental, including scanning in and out using the MCS platform and liaising with the Warehouse and Rental Manager on any issues that may occur.
  • Report any identified damaged assets on off-hire of any considerable damage via email to the Rental Manager at the first opportunity.
  • Load and unload client and company vehicles where required, including the use of FLT's.
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety, Training, and SSOW Guidance.
  • Assist with other roles in the depot or drive company vehicles (where trained to do so) as workload dictates.

Working Hours and Rate of Pay:

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, paid at a rate of £12.50-£13.50 dependant on experience.
