About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flexible Space Planner to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for optimizing the event plan throughout the year, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize the event plan throughout the year in alignment with the Corporate Strategy, Customer plan, and Marketing priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Merchandising, and operational functions, to ensure the successful delivery of events.
  • Review all activities against key performance indicators (KPIs) and stay informed about customer and market trends.
  • Assign seasonal aisle space and manage the end-to-end process for each individual event, ensuring critical milestones are met and events are executed with operational excellence.
  • Maximize compliance and drive performance through regular communication and updates to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze event performance, provide recommendations for improvement, and contribute to shaping future events.
  • Proactively identify risk and develop contingency solutions as needed.

  • Strong critical path management skills.
  • Commercial awareness, consumer knowledge, and market understanding.
