ParetoFM Seeks Skilled Technician: We are looking for a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficient operation of our buildings and ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their technical skills to maintain and improve our facilities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for carrying out regular and periodic inspections to ensure the efficiency and safety of M&E installations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular and periodic inspections to maintain the efficiency and safety of M&E installations, including fire safety, firefighting equipment, and security systems.
- Liaise with the Facilities Manager to determine specific requirements and priorities.
- Support the arrangements in place for subcontractors to undertake routine and emergency breakdown maintenance both in and out of hours.
- Assist the Facilities Manager in setting maintenance priorities and supervise/check works on completion.
- Undertake other works of a similar nature as required and directed by the Facilities Manager.

Requirements:
- Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality.
- Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Good eye for innovation and improvement of existing systems and processes.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based systems.
- General understanding of HVAC systems within a multi-tenanted space.
- General plumbing knowledge.
- Experience of monitoring and use of a BMS system.

Working Environment:
This role requires a variety of tasks from hands-on maintenance work to occasional office tasks. The position may require some evening or weekend work based on client needs.

Estimated Salary: £38,500 per annum.
