About the Role
Ferrovial Construction is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies and procedures.
- Provide expert advice on Health, Safety and Wellbeing matters to project teams and other departments.
- Conduct regular audits and site inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on Health, Safety and Wellbeing performance metrics.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing awareness and best practices.
- Liaise with employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Wellbeing regulations.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the central Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team to identify operational risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Wellbeing legislation.
- CSCS card.
- Ability to carry out detailed, thorough, and systematic analysis.
- Professional membership (e.g., MICE/CMIOSH).
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Sound technical knowledge of the construction process.
- Ability to carry out Health, Safety and Wellbeing audits.
