Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electrical goods to our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Installation: Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate electrical products, including White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers, to our customers' homes.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, provide excellent service, and ensure their delivery and installation experience meets our high standards.
  • Load Management: Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle, review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law, as well as company and health and safety policies.
  • Driving: Drive safely, showing respect and courtesy to other road users, and adhere to driving regulations and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train toward license (e.g., 6 months experience of driving a 3.5T vehicle with no driver blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 new points).
  • Skills: Strong verbal communication, ability to work flexibly, and utilize equipment correctly to ensure best practice for a safe delivery.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for delivering excellent customer service, ability to use initiative to problem solve, and take responsibility for own learning.
