About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press / Forge Operative to join our client's team in a heavy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist in loading machinery and working on press machinery with the forge department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in component operations within the forge department
  • Loading of materials and components into forge / press machinery
  • Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment
  • Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions
  • Good communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
  • An attention to detail and ability to work meticulously
