Job Opportunity at the Department of Science & Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Scientific Attaché/Counselor (S&T) at the Department of Science & Technology. This is a temporary post on deputation (including short-term contract) basis in the Department of Science & Technology for the High Commission of India, London, UK.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing scientific and technical expertise to the Department, as well as representing the Department at international forums. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, and must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of science and technology policy and governance. The selected candidate will be required to work on a short-term contract basis, and will be responsible for providing regular reports and updates to the Department.

Organisations/institutes who do not have the system of recording APARS/ACRs need to furnish their work profiles and gradings of the last 05 years duly certified by their Head of organisations/Institute along with the applications through proper channel so as to reach this Department by Registered Post or by Speed Post within 30 days from the last date of closure of the online portal.
