About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Integration Test Specialist to join our team at PS Computer Services Ltd t/a Parker Shaw. As an Integration Test Engineer in the Connected Car function, you will play a pivotal role in achieving engineering sign off for Connected Car systems and components through test and validation planning.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering Engineering Systems and Components: You will be responsible for specification, system integration, test, and validation to achieve quality targets for the project.
  2. Construction and Maintenance of Test Rigs: You will construct and maintain a set of test rigs, test vehicles in Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment, and Diagnostic domains.
  3. Debugging Analysis and Problem Solving: You will flash, code, and debug analysis and problem-solving on test benches and vehicles as well as VW backend.
  4. ECU Logs Analysis: You will collect, manage, and analyze ECU logs to find the root cause and deliver solutions to solve problems.
  5. Project Planning and Management: You will plan and manage project-related activities on a weekly basis.
  6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to progress project deliverables.
  7. Requirement Analysis and Test Approach Development: You will analyze requirements and develop a test approach.
  8. Issue Analysis and Resolution: You will conduct deep analysis of issues captured during your tests or of issues reported by the team and developers.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. A good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ideally along with Agile principles, is also required. Additionally, hands-on experience in the Automotive domain, experience of vehicle network protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay Automotive Ethernet, diagnostics, and ECU coding are necessary. Experience in system testing and integration, manual testing, reporting, and error management is also essential. Knowledge of vehicle logs analysis such as DLT logs, Ethernet, and CAN logs & Adherence to the VW standard VW99000 is required.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working with VW tools such as ODIS, IDEX, VKMS, CP tool, ADB, Ethernet, and/or MQTT would be advantageous.
