Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for keeping the Home environment clean, tidy, and hazard-free, including cleaning equipment and safe disposal of waste.
  • Oversee all duties of the domestic and laundry staff team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the domestic and laundry staff teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for duty rotas and timesheets for payroll purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Under the supervision of the Home Manager, conduct staff supervision, appraisal, and personal development plans for domestic and laundry staff.
  • Organize and manage stock levels for cleaning and laundry supplies, adhering to budgetary control.
  • Ensure adherence to Company Policy on Infection Control and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
  • Thoroughly clean vacated rooms ready for re-occupation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Polite, courteous, energetic, and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who engages well with others, contributing positively to enhancing quality and service levels for all service users.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
