Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician

Equinix is seeking a Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a shift engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for conducting site inspections and monitoring building and data centre alarms to ensure optimal performance. You will also oversee and execute hands-on preventative maintenance on site infrastructure, either directly or through vendor management, including managing the permit to work system.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
With a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 25 days of holiday, life assurance, income protection, and private healthcare, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to advance their career.
Requirements:
- ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in data centre or critical environment settings is beneficial.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
